    WHAT IS KICK OFF?

    Kick Off is one of the national conferences of AIESEC in Switzerland (AiS). This year the purpose of the conference is to ensure a common national direction through well-defined planning, a common understanding of and commitment to AIESEC.

     

    The three main objectives for the conference are:

     

    Living AIESEC

    Proper Transition & Planning

    Heading for the future (inside & outside of AIESEC)

    OUR PLENARY

    There will be 279 delegates,

    from 7 LCs & 2 expansions.

     

    The main language spoken at the conference is English, but in the breaks you will hear a lot of French, Italian and German as well.

    • Founding year: 1951
    • 206 exchanges in 15/16
    • currently moving towards globally aligned terms: as of 2018 EBs will be aligned

    • Global village material for the AiS olympiads (Thursday): outfits, food, drinks, plate, decorations, etc.. 
    • Sport outfits, white indoor non-marking shoes
    • Red, blue, yellow, orange, white and green clothes for the Rubik’s cube party
    • Suits and dress for the gala, plus a shocking accessory
    • Pen and notepads for the workshops.

    Every day

    Each morning before the morning plenary we will offer a 30 minutes yoga session outside.

    AiS Olympiads

    Thursday Night

    What?

    Demonstrate your skills in numerous challenge such as The Fashion Show, Fake News Contest or The Global Village Challenge.

    Each LCs sends its skilled representatives to the stage for each challenge. The performers will be awarded some points for LCs, and the AiS Champion LC will be announced at the closing ceremony.

     

    How?

    You will receive a detailed instruction sheet with the challenges your LC must complete at the beginning of the evening.

     

    Global Village Party.

     

    For one of the challenge, each LC will choose a country to represent! Tell us which country your LC wants to represent, send an e-mail to Megane.

     

    Prepare clothes, games, food and drinks typical from the country chosen. 

    Nothing will be provided, each LCs has to bring their plates, glasses and anything else needed. For special requirements, ask the OC Team.

    Sport Session

    Friday, 16.30 - 18.00

    What?

    90 min of sweat

     

    How?

    Wear sport outfit.

     

    ONLY DELEGATES WEARING INDOOR SHOES WITH WHITE SOLE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE SPORT HALL

    Get ready to be colourful!

     

    What?

    Exchange your clothes and be the first to be clothed in a unique color. During Announcement will be made and the 3 fastest to change to only one color will be awarded by a free shot

     

    How?

    Wear clothes matching the Rubik’s cube 6 colors: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange and White.

    An exchange session will take place next morning to exchange back clothes

     

    Don't wear too valuable close, we decline all responsibility in case of loss, damage or theft. An exchange session will take place next morning to exchange back the clothes.
